Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Strong general safety background and knowledge as it pertains to the Utility Industry, including OSHA, DOT and State regulations. + Expert ability to build strong relationships and develop trust across the organization across all levels of the organization, anticipating reactions and planning strategically to overcome objections. + Ability to guide and influence others that are not directly reporting to this position. + Ability to lead complex, large projects and/or multi-location initiatives; manage time and resources effectively through organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. + Excellent organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple tasks to effectively achieve results. + Communicate effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing; demonstrated skill in proactively building strong relationships with partners/leaders/customers both internally and externally; ability to effectively present and discuss technical information and respond to questions. Education and Experience + Bachelor of Science in Safety or related field, preferred. Masters degree a plus. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety-related position with increasing management responsibilities preferred. + CSP or CIH, preferred Career Level: UGI Utilities, Inc
