Manufacturing Engineer Intern

s Continuous Improvement programs. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Expected Learnings:** + Identify process and assembly gaps in quality, productivity, and safety and recommend and implement improvements. + Ability to create and interpret work instructions, time studies, and flow diagrams + Understanding of production inefficiencies, data interpretation, and problem resolution **Qualifications and Skills:** + Must currently be successfully enrolled in a cooperative education program pursuing your Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering. + Comfortable working safely in a chemical manufacturing environment + Possess strong analytic and statistic skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint **Physical Requirements:** + Able to lift 50 lbs. of various raw materials + Able to wear a half-face respirator (no beards, mustache and goatee are acceptable)) + Able to work for short periods of time in 95F environments + Able to stand for one-hour periods ITW
