The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Safely operating a variety of manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned. * Performing complete make-ready and shutdown. * Understanding and verification of Quality Inspection Criteria * Product Identification and Labeling * Maintaining Waste and Efficiency standards * Performing inspections on various equipment for proper operation and reporting questionable conditions. * Performing various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris. What you need to succeed: * General mechanical aptitude & trouble shooting skills. * Be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time. * Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff. * Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery. * Industrial manufacturing experience
