Match + Stock Purchase Plan + Education Reimbursement + Legal Insurance What you’ll do as a Estimator I + Maintain and develop strong working relationships with customers. + Attend pre-bid meetings / job walks / investigate project sites. + Review and understand bid documents including plans, specifications, technical provisions addenda, bid documents, and geotechnical reports. + Perform accurate material take-offs. + Request quotes from potential subcontractors and vendors. + Estimate labor and equipment resources for job completion. + Coordinate subcontractors and negotiate purchase orders. + Review completed bid with Chief Estimator and Vice President as necessary. + Assist in obtaining permits and licenses. + Develop and Prepare Project Submittals. + Develop and Coordinate Production Tracking. + Host Project Turnover Meeting. + Prepare Project Schedules. + Provide Information for Foreman’s Packs. + Change order tracking and negotiation. What you’ll need + To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + 5 to 7 years’ experience in underground dry utility pipeline construction. + Knowledge and Experience in Bid2Win (B2W) a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project) + Valid California Driver’s License. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and oral forms (bi-lingual in Spanish
