Construction Crew Leader - Travel Team
Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among crew members, including adequately using machinery and equipment and resolving problems when they arise. + Monitor and report to Area Quality Managers of project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, promptly. + Assist crew members in loading and unloading materials as needed. + Assist crew members in removing, filling, compacting, and preparing the terrain. + Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using various hand tools. + Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after completing the job assignment. Required Qualifications: + Must have a valid driver’s license and three years of verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) + Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen. + Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English. + Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. + Work under inclement weather conditions like rain, heat, and cold. + Must have prior work experience as a Foreman or Crew Lead. + Must have experience operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment. + Prior experience driving ½ or ¾ ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded. + Bi-lingual (English / Spanish)
