Janitor
Clients, and regulatory authorities. + Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. + Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. + Utilizes ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, blinds and select equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts light fixtures and ceiling vents. + Removes stains from surfaces such as carpet, drapes/shades, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. + Prepares cleaning solutions per specifications. + Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors. + cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment. + Gathers trash and empties in appropriate trash and recycling bins. + Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. + Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures. + Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. + Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. + keeps janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order. + Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. + Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to other facilities to clean, including vans, industrial trucks, golf carts, or industrial vacuum cleaners. + Provides special cleaning and support during client events, as needed. + Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements** + 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning. + Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization.
