Team Leader Substation Construction & Maintenance
work groups (Generation, Distribution, Transmission, Engineering, etc.) to provide assistance with substation construction and maintenance activities. Provides employee development opportunities through periodic job performance reviews and progress assessments and a wide variety of on-the-job training assignments. Reviews work order reports to verify accuracy and completeness of labor and material charges and to verify proper procedures have been followed. Reviews periodic budget reports and adjusts work plan accordingly. Tracks and forecasts expenses. Investigates project variances and reports on causes and corrections needed to meet budget commitments. Ensures employees follow established work practices and administers discipline when applicable and as directed. Ensures all environmental rules, regulations, and reporting requirements are satisfied. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.
